As members of ASHRAE, we know how important it is to promote new interest in the HVAC industry.  We must present ourselves to the community in an informative and helpful manner in order to encourage young people to become new HVAC professionals.  The Student Activities Committee is here to do just that. 

We have purchased our own “Cool Science Kit”.  The kit is a series of demonstrations and experiments designed to show the practical applications of scientific concepts.  In past years, we have visited many local schools for demonstrations and hope to be able to do even more now that we are no longer limited in the time we have the kit available. 

If you are interested in having your group participate in a “Cool Science Kit” presentation, or if you are interested in presenting, please contact the Student Activities Committee Chairperson to arrange a demonstration by one of our volunteers.

Also, if you participate in an activity with a student group, such as career day or speaking to a class, please let me now so that they can be counted towards our Presidential Award of Excellence (PAOE).
